The Sierra Leone Football Association President, Isha Johansen, and the FA’s Secretary –General, Christopher Kamara have both been indicted by Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on six-counts of corruption offences.

Minister of Youth Affairs, Mr. Bangura has officially opened the 3 days Sierra Leone Youth Table Tennis Tournament on Friday 1st of September 2017 at the Atlantic Hall in Siaka Stevens Stadium. The tournament which is organize by the Chinese Embassy in collaboration with Sierra Leone Table Tennis Association for youth and children table tennis players was also witnessed by the President and executive members of Sierra Leone Table Tennis Association, as well as hundreds of Sierra Leonean table tennis fans.
The Sierra Leone government has given a five-day ultimatum to the Sierra Leone football association (SLFA) to conduct its periodic ordinary congress or face unspecified sanctions, a move which could set it on a collision course with the game’s world governing body FIFA.
The ultimatum issued on Tuesday followed the decision by Fifa, to prevent the FA from conducting elections after the term of office of the current executive President Isha Johansen expired on August 3.
Fifa, world football’s governing body, has warned Sierra Leone it would not accept any executive body resulting from a congress it does not approve of.
Fifa, in a letter to the outgoing Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) president, Isha Johansen, insisted on its earlier position that all members and potential members of the SLFA executive must undergo integrity tests before it can hold its elective congress.
