As a way of improving the entertainment industry in Sierra Leone’s leading telecommunications provider Africell has signed one of the country’s finest artistes and CEO of Sugar Entertainment, Emerson Bockarie aka The Last Man Standing, for a year contract as their Brand Ambassador.

Abdul Salam Barrie will perform tomorrow Saturday 11th November, 2017 at the Empire Night Club, Garrison Street via PZ in Freetown.

African Independent Radio Station Manager, John Konte said that Abdul Salam Barrie’s sponsorship is the normal touch of Africell Night Life to reach out to its numerous valuable subscribers recalling that the company has sponsored several musical shows and concepts.

An independent investigations conducted by AYV has disclosed that officers of the Criminal Investigation Department Headquarter in Freetown, are currently investigating one Hassan Kamara for impersonate the Minister of Sports, Ahmed Sesay.

Suspect Hassan Kamara was arrested on Thursday 26 January 2017, at Alie’s Jewelries shop at Howe Street in Freetown, when he attempted to dupe the proprietor, on the ploy that he was sent by the Minister of Sports, Ahmed Sesay to collect some money from the proprietor of Alie’s Jewelries.
