MV Freetown, one of the two ferries that plies between Freetown and Targrin, Lungi, in the early hours of yesterday 9th September, 2019 wrecks half-way on sea few minutes after taking off from shore at Targrin in Lungi.

Government’s declaration early this year the chimpanzee as Sierra Leone’s national animal is a complete joke at the rate at which orphaned chimps are taken to the Tacugama Chimpanzee Sanctuary (TCS) at Regent is alarming and a cause for concern.
