The Sierra Leone Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture (SLCCIA) in collaboration with Premier Media Group is putting modalities to hold its annual trade fair and exhibition of businesses and products at the Siaka Steven Stadium in Freetown on Saturday 14th April 2018 for business people in and out of the country.

Desmond Finney Deputy Managing Director Premier Media Group in updating AYV about the event noted that it should have taken place on 12th April, 2018 but that due to some technical issues about approval and clearance it was postponed to 14th April, 2018.

He added that the trade fair of business and products will start on Saturday 14th but that the official opening of the event starts the following week, noting that the trade fair would end on 5th May, rather than on 12th May, 2018 as had been proposed.

“The trade fair is a national and international event for businesses and business people that want to show their businesses, and people will come to see and make their choice on what they like,” Mr. Finney told AYV.

Business people according to Mr. Finney will be coming from different countries around Africa to be part of the event as they used to in the entertainment sector, he said.

“The event is a major economic mover in the sense that a lot of businesses will be displaying their products and services and showcase their talents for other people to learn from them,” Mr. Finney said.

“We see the trade fair as a healing tool for Sierra Leoneans to heal the election stress,” he said.
