As part of efforts to promote economic development, enhance education and rebrand Freetown, Popular Sierra Leone Female Musician Rosemarie Baryoh otherwise known as Rozzy has launched a project titled: “Education through Entertainment” that is geared towards rebranding Freetown and promoting the country’s history through edutainment.
The Sierra Leone DJs Union (SLeDU) have informed the public through a press statement signed by its National President Pilot CPO that the latest photographs from few entertainers making rounds on social media with the captions "PRESIDENT BIO MEETING WITH THE ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY" at State House, Freetown is no way a representation of the entirety of the said Industry.

Winner of Africa Young Voices (AYV) Media Empire in Sierra Leone and Africell’s Reality Television Show - Housemates Salone, Kenchine Palmer is visiting the United Kingdom as a Guest of AYV International for the start of a four- week programme that includes a welcome event with his fans in the UK, meetings with the Commonwealth Africa Initiative, as well as state and non-state actors in the UK.
Men, women and children danced the streets of Kenema Township and its environs over the weekend as they officially welcome and celebrate their official representative for Miss Sierra Leone Beauty Pageant 2019, Queen Margaedah Michaella Samai aka ‘Kella’.
After winning the auditions to represent Kenema in this year’s Miss Sierra Leone Beauty Pageant, the people of Kenema with high powered delegation of dignitaries coming from one sector to another came out in their numbers to welcome and support their daughter.
At the event, prayers and well wishes were poured on Samai, with rising hopes and convictions that she will surely make them proud and bring home the crown.

Ibrahim Bangura aka Mayor B., one of Sierra Leone’s up-coming free style rapper has won the FACE D MIC WITH THE CELEBRITIES RAP BATTLE that was held at Dworzack Field on 23rd March, 2019.
The Chief Judge X-ZU B declared him the winner and he has instantly qualified for the AYV Cypher 2019 with no audition.
X-zu B later said that, he judged fairly and ensured that only the person who deserves the crown wears it, because he wants to see Sierra Leone music on top of the chart.
A CERTIFICATE of ACHIEVEMENT was issued to Sir Wahid for his relentless efforts in promoting the Entertainment Industry and for joining the laudable promotion to promote upcoming talents and artists in Sierra Leone.
