Thursday, October 25, 2018: 5,000 African entrepreneurs, private and public sector leaders and the broader entrepreneurship ecosystem convened in Lagos on Thursday, October 25, 2018 for the annual Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF) Entrepreneurship Forum.

Twenty year-old Abdul Turay has been committed to stand trial in the High Court ofSierra Leone by Santigie Bangura presiding over the Freetown Magistrate Court No.1 at Siaka Stevens Street for committing grave criminal offences, contrary to law.
The accused person is facing seven count charges ranging from Robbery, Wounding, Possession of Small Arms without License and Robbery with Aggravation, which contravene Section (23) sub Section (1a) of the Larceny Act of 1916, as repealed and replaced by Section (2) Act No.16 of 1971.
Some months ago, the Freetown City Council (FCC) prohibited street trading along 17 streets in the Central Business District (CBD).
Amongst the prohibited streets include Liverpool, Bathurst, Wellington, and Siaka Stevens streets.
