The Honourable Justice Biobele Abraham Georgewill led Commission of Inquiry yesterday 8th April, 2019 issued a Bench Warrant for three Sierra Leonean Persons of Interest, Reverend Ibrahim Koroma, Dr. Serry Idris Kamara and Mohamed Kamara for failing to attend the hearing when invited.
The Commission directed the issuance and publication of an Order of Subpoena on the persons of interest to appear before the Commission on 8th April to give evidence on the roles played by each of them in the Youth Projects under investigation by the Commission.

With efforts to boost the work of National Minerals Agency (NMA) in Sierra Leone, Dayu Mining Company the country’s only large scale gold mining company operating in Tonkolili district has donated some laboratory equipment to the agency.
Presenting the equipment at the National Minerals Agency Laboratory at New England, the Mines Operation Manager of Dayu Mining Company, Samuel Kamara noted that the donation was due to challenges experienced by the company last year in analyzing its gold concentrate.
The Public Accounts Committee (PAC), chaired by the Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Segepoh Solomon Thomas has returned from probing the Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) in the North, South and Eastern Regions of Sierra Leone, in respect of the queries raised in the Auditor General's Report of 2017.
In his opening remarks, Hon. Segepoh Solomon Thomas advised auditees to "avoid volunteerism and lying under oath which amounts to perjury or contempt of Parliament". He also said that the exercise "is not a witch-hunt", but the tail end of the budgetary process to ascertain value for appropriated funds in line with established financial rules and regulations in the country.

The GEN-350 can produce up to 900 liters of water per day from humid air. The atmospheric moisture is purified through an internal water-treatment system. The unit needs no infrastructure except electricity from the power grid or from a generator.

Launching the Guidelines, Dr. Amara Jambai disclosed that they are aware of the role nutrition plays in the treatment and care of persons with tuberculosis and HIV, adding that the guidelines will provides information needed to optimize nutritional care and support services to patients with tuberculosis and HIV.

Hon. Justice John Bosco Allieu, presiding over the High Court of Sierra Leone, on Monday 8th April this year expressed his dismay and frustration over the non-appearance of some jurors and prosecution witnesses to proceed with pending matters on various adjourned dates.
He said the absence of jurors who were emplaned by the court to assist the presiding judge in determining felonious and capital offences committed by offenders of the law, poses a serious problem for the entire court proceedings.

Alleged murderer, Ibrahim Kamara has confessed to stabbing his cousin Sulaiman Bah to death with a silver colored kitchen knife. He made the confession to police officers attached to the Criminal Investigation Department at Congo Cross Police Division.
In his statement to police the alleged murderer said after he had stabbed his cousin with the said silver colored kitchen knife, he fled the scene.
