Sierra Leone Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China Ambassador Ernest Mbaimba Ndomahina has thanked president Bio on behalf of the Sierra Leone Students’ Union in China for restoring financial support to students in China. Ambassador Ndomahina expressed this during his recent visit to State House.

The Commissioner of Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Francis Ben Kelfala and his directors have on Tuesday 8th January, 2019 met with the newly appointed Chief Justice Desmond Babatunde Edwards, at his Law Court Buildings office in Freetown. The objective was to strengthen ties between the ACC and the office of the Chief Justice.

Forty-year one old Sahr Ngbegba of No.1 Janet Lane, Kingtom in Freetown has re-appeared before Santigie Bangura presiding over the Freetown Magistrate Court No.1 at Siaka Steven Street for the offence of Human Trafficking, contrary to law.
According to the statement of offence the accused person is charged with the offence of Conspiracy to Commit Trafficking, which negates Section (18) of the Anti Trafficking Act No.7 of 2005 of the country’s laws.

“We have a sacred responsibility as a security sector to ensure that there is tranquility within the state. There is redress mechanism in which people can have redress or recourse where they have grievances. But at the security sector we are poised to ensure that we provide the requisite security and whoever is poised to create any semblance of instability within the state that is outside the confines of the law, we will not sit down and see Sierra Leone come down to a state of redundancy.”

According to the Particulars of Offence, the accused person murdered his brother at K-Man Drive Hill Top, Hill Station in the Freetown Judicial District of the Republic of Sierra Leone on 8th October 2018.

Santigie Bangura presiding over the Freetown Magistrate Court No.1 at Siaka Stevens Street has incarcerated a member of the Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces (RSLAF), Major Musa Bangura for the offence of Sexual Penetration.
Police alleged that the accused person committed the offence of Sexual Penetration of a Child under the age of eighteen years, and that the offence contravenes Section (19) of the Sexual Offences Act of 2012.
