The Christadelphian Youth Coalition (CYC), a non-governmental Christian organization under the Christadelphian Bible Mission established in 2010 with the aim of propagating the gospel and preaching peace amongst youths, prior to its Annual General Meeting in December, has held its executive meeting in Freetown to discuss development.

The rationale behind the establishment of the CYC is to bring together youths from different Christadelphian Ecclesia across the country with the aim of promoting and maintaining peace, love, unity and development in the various Ecclesia especially among its members. It also aimed at helping communities gain from national development.

The meeting deliberated and reached decisions on issues affecting youths in the different Ecclesia and further created avenues for members to meet and acquaint with each other.

The Coalition promotes sound Bible teachings for better understanding of God’s word, preach the gospel and bring converts into the Ecclesia, train junior CYC members to understand the Bible, ensure and enforce sanity in the Ecclesia and institute discipline and obedience among CYC members.

As part of its plans for the upcoming Annual General Meetings in December which is expected to host over a hundred and twenty Christadelphian youths in Bo city, the executive over the weekend met to strategize for upcoming development activities, all centered around “taking the message of God across societies”.

Addressing members at the meeting, Chairman of Christadelphian Youth Coalition, Bro. Daniel H. Kamanda encouraged colleague youths especially heads of the different youths groups in the different Ecclesia to ensure that peace, love and unity continue to dwell among them.

He appealed to them to take the God commandments seriously, noting that they will be reward by God through the Lord and savior Jesus Christ when He returns to establish his Kingdom on earth.
