Hon. Justice Sengu Koroma of the High Court of Sierra Leone at Siaka Steven Street in Freetown, Monday 14th January this year, convicted and sentenced forty two year-old Musa Koroma to ten years imprisonment for the offence of Sexual Penetration of a Child.
Evidence adduced during the trial of the convict indicated that he penetrated the sex organ of a twelve-year old girl on 28 July 2017 in the Freetown Judicial District in the Western Area of the Republic of Sierra Leone.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Dr. Alie Sajan Kabba has successfully acquired thirty five million dollars for the Fiber Optic Project in Sierra Leone.
The disclosure was made recently by Dr. Kabba from Beijing, China where he is holding bilateral meetings with the Vice President of the People’s Republic of China His Excellency Qishan; State Councilor and Foreign Affairs Minister Yi, Councilor Yang Jiechi, and members of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party.
The National Social Security and Insurance Trust (NASSIT) on 13th January 2019 celebrated sixteen-years of excellent service since its establishment in 2002.
