
An Italian Humanitarian who is currently in Sierra Leone to help boost the country’s educational sector and its media landscape was over the weekend robbed at beach road in front of Golf Club in Freetown. Samuel Colombo, 30, is an international artist singer and songwriter of Italian origin. He is the founder and president of the volunteer organization called SOLIDARITY with projects in support of life and in support of children. He is the Personal Assistant to the General Manager of the Africa Young Voices Media Empire, Dr. Victor Suma. His luggage (a black bag) was stolen at around 9:30pm when returning from work. He was attacked in front of the SOS International School and the thief ran into the Golf Club premises and disappeared.
“That bag is priceless”, he says while stating that all his important documents he has put together over five years were in the stolen bag.
Some of the items in the bag were his white apple laptop, documents, over hundred songs he has written, glasses, two external hard drives and project proposals for his organization but no physical cash was in it.. The items worth over a thousand (1,000) Euros
Samuel Colombo advises the youth to believe in themselves and carry themselves in a manner that depicts integrity and God fearing. He asked all youth to engage in something productive than just waste their lives by going around committing crimes like stealing and causing mayhem to the society.
