Kenchine Palmer’s trip is fully funded by the management of AYV in collaboration with Africell as part of their responsibility to manage the winner of the Housemates Salone for a year. Kenchine will also do a fellowship with AYV International and work on the production of his new music album during the trip.

Ambassador Navo and Kenchine Palmer traveled together to London and one of the objectives of this visit is to promote Sierra Leone as well as to expose young Kenchine to many networking opportunities.
He was received at the Heathrow International Airport by AYV’s Global Affairs CEO Madam Haja Navo, Head of Global Affairs Messeh Leone and other members of the AYV team in London.
Sounding very excited, Kenchine thanked his fans who supported him throughout the show with their votes and prayers which saw him emerging as winner of the show.
He also thanked Ambassador Anthony Navo, AYV and Africell for providing the platform for him and other young people who were part of the Housemates Salone 2019.
“This is a very big surprise to me and something I was never thinking about. I am so grateful for this opportunity to travel to the United Kingdom and I’m looking forward to meeting my fans, the Sierra Leone community in the UK and network with other people,” he added.
The trip comes as AYV and Africell plan the next edition of Housemates Salone 2020.
Kenchine Palmer was the winner of the 2019 Housemates Salone organized by Africa Young Voices Media Empire and Africell. He won Le100,000,000 (one hundred million Leones) at the end of the competition which exposed him to several opportunities like signing an advertisement deal with Sierra Juice for their beverages.
The 2019 Housemates Salone Reality TV Show had over twenty young people from different backgrounds competing to win the cash prize of Le100,000,000.
Popularly known as the ‘Juice’ Kenchine has been described as a real transformation and an empowered youth who is willing and ready to learn and take advantage of the endless opportunities ahead of him.
