Speaking exclusively to AYV last evening of 8th July, 2018, Meama-Kajue said in the Report, the chief minister recommended to the president that the suspicious cases of illegal transactions within our government should be reviewed through a commission of inquiry.

Bangura (Demographic Statistics); Andrew Johnny (Geographic Information System); and Ibrahim Kargbo (Data Systems).

In its recent report, Amnesty International is calling on Sierra Leone's new government to end police crackdowns on peaceful protesters and improve human rights.
In the new report, the rights group says nine protesters have been killed and more than 80 injured in peaceful demonstrations over the past decade but that no police officer has been held criminally responsible.

Santigie Bangura presiding over Magistrate Court No.1 at Siaka Stevens Street in Freetown has remanded Abubakar Kamara at the Male Correctional Centre at Pademba Road in Freetown for the offence of obtaining goods by False Presences, contrary to Section (32) sub Section (1) of the Larceny Act of 1916.
The accused person is alleged to have committed the offence on 8 September 2017, at Seventh Day Adventist Mission at Savage Street within the Freetown judicial district in the Republic of Sierra Leone.

The Government of Sierra Leone's Governance Transitional Report that was set up by the President Maada Bio led administration to look into the past activities of government officials had exonerated the Environment Protection Agency from any financial dealings for at least during the past four years. According to the Governance Transitional Report Committee, they observed that the Environment Protection Agency "has not been found guilty, for the last 4 years either by the Auditor General’s or any other oversight agency for any mismanagement or financial discrepancies" in the country.
Former Vice President of Sierra Leone, Alhaji Victor Bockarie Foh has been indicted by the country’s Anti Corruptions Commission (ACC) for corruption. It can be recalled that the former vice president who serves under the outgone All People’s Congress party led governance was among those being investigated by the ACC for allegedly misappropriating funds meant for Muslim pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia in 2017.

By statutory provision, the National Asset and Government Properties Commission, under the Office of the President was established by an Act of Parliament No 2 of 1990: to identified, manage and control the use of National Assets and Government properties through the creation and establishment of a Master Register; including the maintenance, improvement, monitoring the use and disposal of such properties.

The High Court of Sierra Leone Holden at Bo, presided over by the Honourable Justice M.A.J Stevens has sentenced John Nabie to one (1) year imprisonment or to pay a fine of Twenty Million Leones (Le20,000,000).
Nabie was convicted on four counts of corruption related offences viz: Two counts of Soliciting an Advantage contrary to Section 35(1) of Anti-Corruption Act (ACA) No. 12 of 2008; and two counts of Accepting an Advantage contrary to section 35(1) of AC Act 2008.
